With your hosts, Glenn Pendlay and Seb Ostrowicz
Listen in weekly as Glenn Pendlay and I discuss weightlifting, training, tea, coffee and food. We also invite on some of the biggest names in weightlifting and strength training around the world to hear their opinions on your topics.
The Weightlifting News Show
Once a week I record a shorter podcast including all of the weightlifting news from the previous week summed up. From the world record breaking lifts in competition, to the training PRs from our favourite lifters, and of course some stuff in between. This is the only Weightlifting News source for the entire world's training summary.
Glenn Pendlay is about as accomplished an athlete and coach as you can be. The only thing more impressive than some of his lifts, which happen to include a strict press of 180kg and a set of 10 squats with 280kg, are his coaching accolades. Having coached over 100 national champions, broken multiple national records, and sent more athletes to international competition than any other American coach, he now sits down weekly with me to chat weightlifting.
But who am I?
Well, I am most likely you, or someone like you anyway. I love weightlifting, I want to be strong, I want to go to the Olympics, and more than anything I want to learn how. I have a degree in Sport and Exercise Science (which means very little) and have been weightlifting for over 4 years. But for all intents and purposes I am the voice of the people. I am the enthusiast who just wants to know how to break through to that next level.
Become 'Weightlifting House' housemates and sit down with us weekly as I ask Glenn the things we want to know.
Drop me a message here if you want to suggest topics for us to discuss and people you'd like to hear interviewed.
Weightlifting House was built with the sole purpose of bringing the athletes closer to the fans, as well as providing in depth original content on and around the sport we love. Through weekly interviews, weekly podcasts, and weekly articles, I aim to contribute as much to the world of weightlifting as it has given to me.
