2019 World Youth Championships Entry List

The IWF has released the entry list for the 2019 World Youth Weightlifting Championships, to be held in Las Vegas from 8–15 March 2019.

Nearly fifty countries are represented among more than two hundred entries in the under-seventeen competition. The youngest competitor is New Zealand’s Jamie Watson, who will still be aged twelve when she lifts in the -40 kg category.

Notable entries include Kumushkhon Fayzullaeva of Uzbekistan, Youth Olympic Games gold medalist, who is listed in the -64 kg category with a 210 kg entry total. As well as her, five more athletes who won medals at the Youth Olympics will feature.

The -59 kg category looks set to be highly competitive, with three athletes posting entry totals of 190 kg.

Fifteen-year-old Czech lifter Dominik Oracko has posted the biggest entry total of the competition – 318 kg in the +102 category. Of the women, Dilara Narin of Turkey has the highest entry – 230 kg in the -76 kg category.
