Sohrab Moradi Comeback Tracker

The next 6 months of Sohrab Moradi’s training will be interesting to watch as he returns from the brink of spinal surgery all the way to the 2019 World Championships.

After finding out that Sohrab Moradi (IRI-96) would not need to undergo surgery, I thought it would be worth tracking his progress over the next 6 month qualifying period from his untrained self to hopefully world record levels at the 2019 World Championships.

This table will stay up to date with Sohrab’s return right from the first day that it was made public that he would no longer need surgery – April 7th 2019.

April 8160 kg
April 20160 kg
April 23200 kg
May 2170 kg
June 19170kg x 2 (blocks)

Below is a video timeline of Sohrab’s comeback
