The 2019 Asian Champion Ali Davoudi (IRI +109) just clean and jerked 240 kg having only just turned 20 years of age. This is now 3 kg over his competition best and also his own junior world record of 237 kg.
Ali Davoudi owns all of the junior world records in the super heavyweight category, and as it stands has no real direct competition amongst the juniors. The top seniors however certainly have a lot of competition in the shape of Ali Davoudi, a lifter who aims to match up with the successful Iranian dynasty of great superheavyweights, such as Hossein Rezazadeh, Behdad Salimi, and Saeid Alihosseini.
Davoudi has now won 6 international competitions, 3 of which were senior competitions. He looks to further his junior world records of 197/237/432 over the coming qualification period.
