Kianoush Rostami Posts Statement After Missing Out At Worlds

Iranian 96 Kianoush Rostami has posted a statement to his Instagram account following his controversial bomb out at the 2019 World Weightlifting Championships.

A translation provided to us is as follows:

Hello friends.Today was a very good day but the conditions were not. Although, I think everything was pre-agreed (fixed). Anyways, it’s a pity I couldn’t make you happy. I worked very hard. My (training) records were much higher than my competitors, but they  ruined the conditions and they didn’t want me to go through my journey well. I don’t know what to say, so fed up, work hard day and dnight and then nothing. Time goes by fast, but I was very good today, I never forget today. I wish I was never an athlete. Thanks to my coaches.they helped me from their souls but it didn’t happen

Many thanks to sahandzpr for the translation
